Mark Guerrero interviews eight musical artists of what has become known as the "Eastside Sound" of East Los Angeles in the '60s.  His guests include the late Richard "Scar" Lopez of Cannibal & the Headhunters, George Delgado of The Premiers, Sal Murillo of The Blendells, Andy Tesso and Max Uballez of The Romancers, Rudy Salas of The Salas Brothers, and Ersi Arvizu of The Sisters.  Recordings of all of the above groups are played and discussed.

Hirth Martinez

Mark Guerrero interviews the late great songwriter and recording artist, Hirth Martinez.  In the mid-'70s Hirth recorded two albums on Warner Brothers Records.  The first, "Hirth From Earth," was produced by Robbie Robertson of the Band; the second, "Big Bright Street" was produced by John Simon.  His extraordinary songs have been covered by Paul Butterfield, Manfred Mann, Julio Iglesias, and many others.
